I made Carolina Style Pulled Pork Sandwich in the crock pot yesterday and wanted to try something different than just standard leftovers. I also had a fresh pineapple that I had just cut up this morning. While I'm not entirely a fan of meat & fruit together, I thought I'd try this recipe. I made my own thin crust with Pizza Dough for Thin Crust Pizza (excellent thin crust, btw). I think I would like it much better (personally) without the pineapple, but that's just my preference/taste. This was an excellent recipe, good use of leftovers and a wonderful change from the standard leftovers and/or pizza. Thanks for sharing.
This was soooo good. DH didn't think he would like it when he saw me making it, but changed his mind when tasting it. Used fresh pineapple and left over pulled pork with Thin crust pizza crust. YUM!
Amazing, I made two this weekend and both were great. However I used crushed pinapple on one and it turned out best.
Very good pizza pie. I used my own crust recipe. :)
this was super yummy.. me and bf were worried about it being too sweet but it was perfect.. we didn't adhere exactly to the measurements but used this more as a starting point.. either way we really enjoyed the pizza.. ty for the recipe
Amazing!!! I altered slightly to use up what I had - 2 BBQ leg quarters, a few slices of sandwich pepperoni, about 2 TBS crumbled bacon pieces. I used pineapple tidbits which are perfect bite size for me. My own crust and an assortment of 5 blend Italian cheese, cheddar & jack cheese. DH & DS both thought I was a rock star for such a wonderful dinner. Served with a nice tossed salad. Thank you so much for helping me clear out the fridge (the week before Thanksgiving)! This will be a recipe that goes into my pizza rotation from now on!
