My roomates swooned at sight of these - goes to show how starved for decent food we are. Ooh well; they were delicious anyway.
Directions:
1
Boil baby carrots with half the tablespoon of basil and half the tablespoon of ginger until soft, but not limp.
2
Drain.
3
Add the remaining spices and margarine.

Enjoy!
Ratings & Reviews:
Very tasty. I like the technique of adding some of the seasonings to the cooking water and some after the carrots are drained. I used butter and added a little black pepper at the end. Thanks for posting! Made for Bargain Basement Tag.

Very tasty change from buttered carrots. The two flavors really do go well together. Will be making this again.

Wow - these are delicious carrots! Wouldn't have thought to use basil and ginger together like this but it really worked. Loved this great recipe - thanks for sharing it! Made for the Best of 2010 Event (recommended by Chocolatl)
