57 people can't be wrong!! Marg - these are dangerous bars - can't eat just one!! ;) Made these with half milk chocolate chips and half dark chocolate chips. Also didn't add nuts because of allergies. Thanks Marg! :)

These are very tasty, but I would suggest lining the pan with parchment before cooking AND mixing the butter & graham crackers together and spreading it on the bottom. Some of the graham cracker didn't get wet with enough butter. Otherwise, they are really good.

A couple suggestions: 1) if you decide to mix up the butter and crushed grahams first and then press it into the pan, double the amount of butter and grahams used because it took me a long time to spread that small amount over the whole pan! 2) Don't add the butterscotch chips. They overpower the other flavors. I'm going to try caramel next time. 3) Add more chocolate and maybe use bars instead of chips for a more even layer. 4) make sure you crush the nuts small enough so they stick to everything. Most of mine didn't stay on top after cutting the bars out of the pan which brings me to my last point. 5) It was VERY difficult to cut these out of the pan so don't wait until they brown on top! And I like someone's suggestion of layering the pan with parchment paper. Hopefully mine will turn out better next time!

My husband loves these! BUT... The butter to graham cracker ratio makes the crust fall a part. I always add a little more graham cracker (Or animal cookies, or whatever I'm grinding up) and then sprinkle it with powdered sugar and mix it in until it's a harder consistency. The powdered sugar makes is so much better!

I am not a baker but I followed this recipe to the letter and I ended up with a gooey mess.
They were really thin and I couldn't get them out of the pan in one piece. I was so disappointed as I had planned on serving these at my super bowl party. I won't make them again but I'd sure like to know where I went wrong. DandyD

I have made these for years and they are my son's favorite. The recipe I have uses crushed vanilla wafers instead of the graham cracker crumbs and I like it better. We call them "Magic Cookie Bars." I find the bars hold together better if you press down lightly as you add the nuts and chocolate chips. Definitely a winner!

Heaven.....these are such rich and sinful bars. I didn't have nuts so I omitted them but they are still wonderful. I will make them many times over. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, its wonderful.

These bars are wonderful! My kids loved them! I followed the recipe as written - no additions. Very easy to make with yummy results!
