    Chief Home Officer's Note:

The granola I created with input from my mom, who has been making granola since I can remember. My husband eats it like it's going out of style, and loves that it's as healthy as it is yummy.

    3. 3
      3. Bake cookie sheets side-by-side for about 20 minutes (more depending on your oven and how toasty you like your granola), stirring every 5-6 minutes. Be careful to get the granola at the edges of the pan into the middle so it won't burn.

      4. Before the last 5-6 minutes, add walnuts, coconut, and sunflower seeds if yours aren't preroasted.
    5. 5
      5. Remove from oven, stir, spread back out on pan and let cool. Add raisins (and sunflower seeds if preroasted). Store in airtight container.

You have some great tasting granola here, for sure! Made your recipe as given (though I used golden raisins) ~ Great combo of flavors! With my first bowl, I did include a generous amount of dark raisins (What can I say but that I'm a big raisin fan!) & thoroughly enjoyed it all! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
