tasts good - a better aternative than plain corn. Which I'm not overlyfond of. I know most people love corn and I do like it better than plain corn. I found you can reheat if you fry in a little butter.
Great recipe and very simple to make. This is a recipe for all seasons. I used fresh corn cut off the cobb and added a little water to replace the moisture that you would get from frozen corn. I was a hit at the neighborhood labor day picnic. Made for pic a chef 09. Thanks for sharing
This is so good. It had a nice southwestern flavor...my kids thought it tasted like tacos. Fast and easy, definitely a do-over at our house.
I brought back some frozen sweet corn from Iowa that my daughter had prepared in ice coolers. I have been using it sparingly until the next visit. This is an excellent recipe.It is a keeper! I will make again and again, even when I run out of great Iowa sweet corn! Thanks for posting!
We loved this! I doubled the butter and the corn, but left the spices the same. My kids DO NOT like 'spicy' at all, but I figured I'd sneak this in, but all very mild. One commented that it was a little spicy (it wasn't at all, that's just her palate), but they loved it so much that they all ate it up! Definitely a keeper, and I will make it often for my family. This was really good and quick and easy to make! Oddly enough, I too was having chicken for dinner and all I had in the house was frozen corn! LOL This really jazzed the corn up! The only thing i did differently was to add a couple stalks of chopped celery and a sprinkling of seasoning salt. Thanks!
