Personally, I love cumin, but never used it on fish. I was worried that my wife might not like it because she's less of a cumin fan that I. But the fish turned out great. Used olive oil. Grilled some green and yellow squash and portobello mushtooms as our side. One of the best fish dishes I've made.

I really liked the taste of cumin in this. It added a really interesting flavor to the fish. I added a bit of South African Smoke Flavored Spice from TJ's (my favorite!), and made this in the oven. Served with brown rice and zucchini. Will definitely make again!

Really delicious! I used lemon juice instead of lime because it's what I had on hand. Used one lemon. I also used olive oil instead of canola. Will definitely make this again!

I substituted the Mahi Mahi for Tilapia and it was really good! It was so simple to make! I only used 1 and a half limes because it really didn't turn into a paste; more like a marinade. Either way it was great though. We paired it with Barb Gertz's Baja Black Beans, Corn and Rice (http://www.recipezaar.com/Baja-Black-Beans-Corn-and-Rice-55768) for a really flavorful and healthy meal. I will definitely be coming back to this recipe.

Delicious! I accompanied the fish with fresh salsa, and served wild rice, black beans, and steamed broccoli on the side.

Next time, I'll increase the amount of lime juice just a little. Otherwise, this was delicious, fast, and easy. I'll definitely make it again.

Wow-- even my 6 and 3 year old girls gobbled this up. I made it according to the directions and served it over rice with mild fresh salsa and a corn, black bean, avocado salad with cilantro. Thanks Judy from Hawaii for this nice spring/summer meal!

Everyone in my family loved this! DS's (12 and 15) both cleaned their plates. I had 1.25 pounds fish, so halved the recipe. Alas, I did not have fresh limes so used lime juice, pouring in what I estimated to be the juice of 1 lime. Evidently I over-estimated because my marinade was more liquid than a paste. So I combined the mahi pieces and marinade in a plastic bag and let sit in my fridge for almost an hour before cooking. I cooked the fish in a pan w/ about 2 teaspoons olive oil for the 8 minutes, but decided the pieces weren't cooked enough and so turned the heat up to medium high for another 2 or 3 minutes. The pieces became slightly browned which made them more visually appealing! I served with brown basmati rice and asparagus. I will definately be making this again - next time mahi mahi is on sale!

We made this for dinner last night and thought it was really good. Very simple to prepare, yet very flavorful. I like that it uses ingredients that I typically have on hand. I halved the ingredients as I had 1 lb of fish, which worked out great. I would definitely make this again. Thanks!

I am having a hard time even describing how delicious it was. I used this to make fish tacos, and they were the best I have ever made. The only change I made was using a bit less oil- I made it for 1 person (using about 4 ounces of fish) and I used 1 tsp oil.

What a tasty yet easy recipe! It was a little too lime-y for us, but after adding some red pepper flakes, it was great. This will be made frequently, especially since it goes together so quickly. I served it with brown rice and edamame. Thanks Judy!

Actually, my 3 year old loved it! I used just a spray of olive oil and cut it in half, but otherwise left it as is. Very nice flavor. Nice and easy and healthy!

this Mahimahi had wonderful flavour, love the lime and cumin together with just enough heat from the pepper. I used olive oil as I had no canola. We will be having this again, it is quite delicious, thanks for sharing.

Excellent recipe! So simple yet it tastes like lots of work went into it. I forgot to cut up the mahi and I only let it sit about 10 minutes, but it came out great anyway. I used olive oil instead of canola. I also used bottled lime juice and poured a little extra in the pan after the fish was cooked to drizzle over it. The pepper gave it just the right kick and the cumin went wonderfully with the lime. My husband (whose family is from Maui) raved.
