Squeaky clean floors (Caution, this cleaner makes your floors so clean they are slippery!)! I used on real hardwoods, linoleum as well. Worked great. I mopped and then went over it with a rag to get up more of the water. Super! Bye bye Lysol and Swifter! Update: I added 10 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract for disinfecting as well.

Worked on my new floor except for the sticky stuff from the underlayment. My kids stuck the underlayment to my new floor and I could not get the sticky stuff off the floor. I tried vinegar and water and a plastic scraper, orange cleaner and hand soap and plastic scraper. Still sticky stuff. Then I remembered peanut butter will remove gum from hair so I figured it was worth a shot. Yes, PEANUT BUTTER removes sticky stuff from the floor. So if you end up with tape or other sticky stuff on the floor try peanut butter and a plastic scraper. Hope this helps someone!!

Worked pretty good with HOT water. I normally use the Shaw brand laminate floor cleaner since I have Shaw laminate floors. The vinegar stuff picked up a lot more grime than my normal cleaner and did not leave a residue. It dried really fast and mostly streak-free. I even used it on my porcelain tile in my kitchen and now the tile feels clean. The only downside is the vinegary smell lingering in my house now, but I will use this again!

So simple and so cheap! Have used vinegar and water for my windows, would never have thought about using on laminate floors. Worked wonders and house smelled so good after. Thanks!!!

This is what I use also. Try putting in spray bottle,I dry swifer my floor, have a mop with a terry cloth cover(got where I bought my flooring)spray and mop.No water to mop up! Also E-Z for spot cleaning.Had my son's groommen's supper at our house.People were in and out all night. My floor has never been that dirty. Before the wedding I dry mopped and then grabbed my vinegar/water bottle (15 min.I was done)Hope this is helpful. I really didn't think this would work but it does...perfectly! I do go behind and towel dry but it's worth it to have smudge free shiny floors. Thank you!!

Gave this to my friend and she said it was great and it did a wonderful job. A real money saver.

This worked wonderfully! Was out of floor cleaner... Added a splash of lemon juice for scent. This is drying streak free as I write this... and it lifted off the dull residue left behind from the usual stuff! I had some serious reservations about trying this, but it totally rocked, and I think I'll be making this from now on to clean the floors! Thanks so much for sharing.

Maybe we did something wrong...but it left our floor streaky. I will probably try again though because I like the idea of no harsh chemicals.

Thanks so much! I'm so excited about this - I have a large area of laminate and I've used it a few times already and it really works just great! No streaky residue like other cleaners I've used. Also no harsh chemicals.

This worked great! I get so tired of having to get down on my hands and knees and try to scrub up grime that wont come up with the other cleaners. This seemed to clean better and left everything with a great shine! I guess I need to toss the cleaner out and go buy a big bottle of vinegar from now on!

Wonderful! We had over half our house redone with laminate and then the cleaner they sent- name brand- left the floor streaky! It looked like it was wiped with a dirty rag! :( This made the floor shine and so clean it squeaked! I am a very happy Mama! Thanks Chelle!

This is all I ever use now on laminate and ceramic tile. Environmentally friendly and cheap and a nice clean smell. Also leaves no residue and floors feel smooth under your feet. Thanks for submitting this.

I tried this today and my floors came out beautiful. I have been confused as to what I should use to clean the laminate but I will be using this recipe from here on.

I used this recipe in the kitchen, and DH's favorite brand of cleaner in the den. He had to admit - you could not tell the difference. No streaks or spots at all, and no vinegar odor. Needless to say, we won't buy cleaner again. Thanks for posting.

Worked nicely. I added a little grapefruit essential oil for extra anti-bacterial and anti-viral clean and to cover up the smell of the vinegar a little. Thanks.

This is great. I used this today and am very pleased with the results. It works much better than the store bought brands I've been using; no streaks or blotchy spots. I'll be keeping this recipe. Thanks a lot for posting it!!!

I use something very similar--I use more white vinegar and also add a cup of strong herbal peppermint tea--the peppermint is also antibacterial and really makes the vinegar smell better!

I use this on my hardwood floors (they've got three coatings of polyurethane). I also use it on my butcher block countertop to disinfect. I use the white vinegar as well. Works great and smells nice. Also, I am told ants do not like vinegar and will not come.
