This recipe came from the eigth grade cook book from our local Catholic School, and was submitted by Kristine Ward.
- 10 eggs
- 1 pint cottage cheese
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 10 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese, grated
- 1 (7 ounce) can green chilies, diced
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish.
- In a blender, whirl the first 6 ingredients. Pour mixture into a large bowl, and add the last 3 ingredients. Mix well. Pour into baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes. Cut into appetizer size squares. Serve hot or cold.
