Oysters with just lemon juice? Bah. Try this Korean way of serving them.
- 24 oysters (in the shell, opened)
- 1⁄4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons chili bean paste
- 1 inch ginger, chopped and crushed
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- soy sauce, to taste (really just a few drops)
- Mix all ingredients, except the oysters, in a bowl to make the sauce. Cover and chill till ready to serve. When serving, simply spoon the sauce over the oysters.
