I used this recipes several times to marinate my short ribs, and they come out delicious every time. But I like to add a lot of garlic so I add about 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and I puree chopped onions until I get half a cup and add that to the marinade too.

I made this twice already, once with pork rips and then pork chops I followed the recipe except that I didn't use msg. This is one of my favourite marinades and I find it very tasty, with a few flavours but none overpowering the meat. I'm planning to try it with beef, too. Thank you for posting it, I feel my cooking is improving with simple tasty recipes like these!

Loved this marinade! It was easy and quick to put together. I did not have any onion on hand so I used the dried onion and let them swell in the marinade for a while I too used minced garlic.

Loved this marinade to use with our steaks. I used NY sirloin and the marinade made the steak taste so delicious!

I made this up for a cornish game hen that had to be used up soon. I was tired but I knew if I didn't put it in some kind of marinade, we wouldn't have it for dinner the next night. This marinade was super easy...just throw everything in a ziplock bag and put it in the fridge. It was good too! I used olive oil and yellow onions instead of green onions because it's what I had. Thanks!

This marinade was so simple and delicious. I let it marinade over night and it was a quick and easy dinner the next night. My boyfriend thought I had been slaving in the kitchen all day! I also made some extra marinade and cooked it down a bit for a dipping sauce. Amazing!

This was a good marinade. made as directed and marinated overnight then grilled. We all thought it tasted really salty.Would recommend low sodium soy for this. Made great leftovers for salad next day.

My family loved this I used 2lb of beef and it still was not enough. I used Lowerys Seasoning salt instead of msg or Accent. Needless to say 2lbs was not enough for three of us.

Thank you for posting this. I also got this recipe from a Korean co-worker many years ago but lost it. When I tried it I used beef and made gravy with the drippings and served it over rice. My family loved it and thanks to you, I can try it again. That sesame oil really makes the recipe!
