Sometimes you don't have the fridge space for a full pitcher, but a small bottle (or several small bottles) can fit in the door!

    Units: US | Metric

    • 2 (3 -6 g) envelopes unsweetened Kool-Aid powdered drink mix
    • 2 cups sugar (or less if you like)
    • 1 cup water

    1. 1
Stir the Kool-Aid and sugar together in a small saucepan.
    2. 2
Add the water and stir to get it down through the sugar.
    3. 3
Warm over low heat until the water warms up enough to dissolve the sugar, stirring constantly. Don't let it get too hot.
    4. 4
Once the sugar is dissolved, pour the syrup into a clean bottle - old Coffee Mate bottles work well.
    5. 5
      Store in the refrigerator.
    6. 6
To use, add syrup to taste to a glass of cold water.

I love this recipe. I used cherry & lemonade as my kool-aid. Made for PAC Fall 09

Hot tap water is enough to melt the sugar. Just give the bottle a shake before you put it in the fridge.

This is a great recipe. There are times I want a glass of kool-aid but I don't want to make a pitcher of it. It takes too long to go thru a whole pitcher. I have made this twice. Both times I made two different flavors. That way I have two flavors to choose from. Thanks for a great recipe that will be made over and over again. .
