I have not tried this yet, but thought it sounded like a very kid friendly dessert. I got this from a parent of one of the kids my son goes to school with
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 16 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 (3 ounce) package Kool-Aid
- 1 graham cracker crust
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients except crust.
- Pour mixture into pie crust.
- Refrigerate to set up for a couple hours.
- (Cook time is chill time).
Extremely simple! You can use any flavor Kool-Aid...the possibilities are endless. This time, I used peach-mango Kool-Aid and diced a fresh mango for garnish. I let the pie freeze for a few hours before serving to aid in slicing. Next time I make this I will try an Oreo crumb crust with raspberry Koo-Aid.
My mother-in-law gave me this recipe and it's pretty good! It's neat having so many flavor options with the kool-aid!
Pretty, light, pertly flavored and you can put it together in 10 minutes including clean up. What's not to love? It's also easy to fancy up by stirring in canned, frozen or fresh fruit or berries. I had heard of this one from a relative who called it Lemonade Pie. There are many delicious options here, thanks for posting : )
