Adapted from Sam Choy's Polynesian Kitchen. Prep time does not include time to brew the coffee, which will vary.
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 4 cups brewed kona coffee
- cream (optional)
- sugar (optional)
- Stir spices into hot brewed coffee.
- Serve with cream and sugar if desired.
You had me at the Kona coffee, love, love, love Kona Coffee, so much flavor. This was wonderful Chocolatl. I really enjoyed the addition of the spices and vanilla and almond extracts, I used pure ones for maximum flavor, I used freshly ground spices, added sugar and garnished with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick. This is an excellent, spiced coffee. Loved the cardamom.
