    Jodi Marie in Chicagoland's Note:

Enjoy and old-fashioned favorite. I have loved Knox blocks since I was a kid and was surprised to not see a recipe here. So I thought I would add one. For those who don't know what Knox Blocks are they are the original Jello Jigglers and I think a little more tasty.

I'm putting this in my recipe box (as I always have to look up the Knox to gelatin ratio when I make them). My only change is to make a small batch. 1 envelope of Knox is 3 tsp; so I use one small box of gelatin and 1 envelope plus 1 tsp of Knox.

KNOX BLOCKS! I completely forgot about these! I grew up eating them also, and I used to love them! Thanks for posting the recipe. UPDATE- I finally made these and they tasted exactly as I remembered. It was fun to introduce them to my kids, who gobbled them up. I do keep them covered as they chill, and it takes away the hard outer "peel" that you get sometimes.

My toddler thanks you. . .he loved jello, but doesn't love that it slides off the fork. PROBLEM SOLVED. Knox blocks are firm and he can pick them up and pop them in his mouth. I will literally be making this recipe weekly!!! Thanks UPDATE: I have made this many a time. I use sugar free jello (the off brand from Walmart) which works out great. I also cut them into different shapes with mini cookie cutters and send them in my son's lunch in a baggie and they hold up very well.
