This recipe was found online at It's meant to be a 'healthy' snack the latter part of October or whenever, but I thought it'd be great for March, as well, but perhaps not so elaborately decorated!

  1. Read directions below before peeling all the kiwifruit.
  2. Slice kiwifruit into rounds, then again into half-rounds. Set aside.
  3. Prepare instant pudding according to directions on package.
  4. Add 2-3 drops green food coloring until desired shade of green is reached.
  5. Pour pudding into dessert bowls.
  6. If desired, leave some fruit unpeeled, & after slicing them as above, place some unpeeled slices along top edge of bowls with skin side up [for goblin hair!].
  7. Place 2 half or quarter kiwifruit slices onto pudding for eyes.
  8. Place raisins [or chips] on pudding in shape of a mouth.

A nice dessert, though we enjoyed I am not sure if I did the face right, used raisins as an option here. My 9 year old and I had fun making the faces. A nice twist on a dessert list. Made for PRMR tag.

We enjoyed this for a quick and easy dessert. Fun to make and easy too! Thanks for sharing!

These were a bit bland tasting but really cute--a nice idea for Halloween. Since I don't care for chocolate, I used the raisins option. I imagine kids would prefer raisins and it might get a higher rating on flavor if made that way and devoured by a chocolate lover. I did come out with way too many kiwi slices, but that was okay--I happily gobbled them up as a snack.
