Kiwi Fruit Pops

"A friend of mine gave me this recipe but I haven't tried it yet. She said that she uses approximately 15 Kiwi fruit and chops it up (or uses an equal amount of strawberries, sometimes a combination of the two fruits too). You may have to adjust the amount of sugar depending on the tartness of the kiwi fruit."

  1. Fabulous! I love a healthy kids' snack! Great way to get some vitamin C and fruit servings into the kids (and me). My boys LOVED these, including one who normally won't eat kiwi. I had a big bag of 20 overripe kiwi, and used them without increasing the other ingredients. Used regular sugar and didn't bother tossing before I ran through the food processor. The boys named these "green leopard popsicles" because of the spotty-looking seeds. Will make again! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. a great mix of sweet and tart, and a wonderful texture. My two-year old helped me make them and loves them! I used 10 kiwis for 6 popsicles
