We love this salad! I used the sour cream and macaroni options and doubled the recipe. The peas are a great addition to this salad as are the cheese and eggs. In fact, I loved the entire flavor! I added fried bacon. This is an absolutely fantastic recipe and thanks for the great options in this recipe. Such a winner!
Bland, no one really cared for it. I probably won't make it again.

I made this for my family and I and we all loved it!! I used 6 (dry) ounces of whole wheat macaroni (=3 cups cooked), 2 celery ribs, 6 ounces of reduced fat sharp cheddar; no yum yum pickles, 4 eggs 2 for topping, 1/3 cup relish, 1/4 cup light sour cream 1/2 cup low fat mayo and 3/4 cup light ranch dressing. I added 4 slices of cooked crumbled bacon. The dressing made about twice as much as needed. FABO! FABO!
This was okay. I left out the yum yum pickles and it still was sweeter than I liked. I only used half the cheese but it still seemed like too much. I guess I just don't like cheese in my macaroni salad! Everything seemed to be swimming in the dressing. I don't think i'll make this again.
This is delicious! I loved the dressing so much that I made another batch of it, added milk to make it the consistency of salad dressing, and use it on tossed salad. My husband even likes it, and he thinks lettuce should only be eaten by rabbits!
This was a good pasta salad. Only half of the family liked it, though. I did not use the hard boiled eggs because my kids would have definitely frowned at that and I did not use the yum yum pickle. I've never heard of these, but your description tells me what they are. It was good the first day, but the next day it was very dry. Only half of it was consumed, so I don't think I will be trying this again. Thanks anyways.
Wasn't what I was hoping for in a Pasta salad. Tasted just like potato salad with pasta instead of potato -- Yuck.
Absolutely the best macaroni salad I have ever had! I didnt have sweet relish so I used chopped up dill pickles... and it turned out great! I also added green peppers and green onions just because I love the extra veggies! :)
I have made both the macaroni and the potato versions and this is what i am told i will make for every barbecue/potluck gathering -- sometimes i use different kinds of potatoes, just to mix things up a little bit -- and i have also used different kinds of pasta -- even made a gluten free pasta batch once -- thanks for sharing
