Oh Kittencal, how thankful I (and my family) am for you!! I tried this recipe since your recipes are usually fabulous and it was even better than that!!! I was so glad my crust was so thick so I could dip it in the sauce that was left over. My mother and FIL kept saying how delicious it was and asked if I could put it over spaghetti sometime! I have passed this on to several friends. I didn't change a thing, and why would I?!? THANK YOU again!!

Yum! I will NEVER use the canned/jarred stuff again! This stuff makes my pizza taste restaurant quality. Hubby ate a few pieces and then told me, "Ohhh ,this is the best." For him, that's quite a compliment! I added about 4 teaspoons of sugar and a teaspoon of salt at the end, it was great. Thanks!!!

I was really hoping for something more with this sauce. It was not what my taste buds were looking for. It was worth a try though since it had so many high reviews; however, I won't be making it again.

As Guy would say, "This is MONEY." When you put this recipe together you done it totally right. I had a craving for pizza last night didnt have one ingredient for it. But, didnt want to run all the way to town. Headed over to the Amish store minutes before they closed and found everything I needed. The only thing I didnt do was add sugar. Was sweet enough with the tomatoes I used. Thanks for sharing we all enjoyed it. Will never buy supermarket sauce again.

DELICIOUS!!!. I have yet to find a recipe from Kittencal that I haven't loved. I follow the recipe mostly but substituted one of the cans of diced tomatoes with tomato sauce and the diced tomatoes were the Italian style and so I adjusted my herbs. I did puree the tomatoes and wish that I had pureed the whole sauce at the end because I like a very smooth pizza sauce but the flavor was fantastic.

Easy to make. Great consistency. Next time I'll use a bit less Italian seasoning onion and oregano. It was a bit strong for my tastes.

I knew I couldn't go wrong with a Kittencal recipe. I made Amazing White Trash Puff Balls and used this pizza sauce for dipping - yummy combination. I made them for our weekly Mexican Train/Spinners game night. They were a big hit. Best thing is I have lots of leftover sauce so am off to make a pizza.

All I can say is WOW! This is such great pizza sauce! It's the first time I've ever made my own, and can only compare it to my favorite store bought brand, and this recipe is so much better! I followed the recipe exactly, using the highest amount of seasonings suggested. I also added one firmly packed teaspoon of dark brown sugar. I used my stick blender to make is smoother. I don't think I'll ever buy pizza sauce from the store again! Thank you Kittencal!

This was good but slightly too acidic for me. Served on top of a Chicago Style pizza

I think this sauce is very good. I love pizza.......could eat it at least once a week. I've been making this for about 2 years now. Instead of freezing it, I make a double batch and can it in a water bath for 35 min (pints). That way when I want it, I don't have to defrost it. Just open a jar and put any leftovers in the frig.

super delicious pizza sauce. Couldn't stop tasting it while it cooked! I halved the recipe and it was the perfect amount for a large pizza.

This sauce was excellent! It turned out thick and full of flavor. I added an extra clove of garlic, simmered the sauce with a bay leaf, and used two 14 oz cans of tomato sauce. I opted for a tablespoon each of Italian seasoning and oregano, yum! Oh, and I did add a teaspoon of sugar at the end. The recipe made lots, so I will freeze the rest for another day! Thank you for sharing!

I made a double batch of this last night and used for pizza today. It is so tasty! For us, there ended up being more sauce than needed, but I'm not complaining! Easy to make and great to eat! Thank you!!

Exactly the sauce I make but in a larger quantity. Easy and tasty. Can be used at any point, from just mixed together and barely cookes, to cooked for a long time. Good stuff.

I am going with 5 stars because this is darned good. I do think it needs a tiny bit more zip. Next time I may add some cayenne pepper (not much though) some grated romano cheese and something to be decided. Adults praised the sauce, kids said just OK. Personally I think with minor changes (more zip) this will be my go to pizza sauce.

Another great by kittencal!! I used Hunts salt free canned tomato paste, 1 can of Hunts salt free tomato sauce and 1 can Hunts salt free diced tomatoes with Oregano and Basil added. I didn't need the sugar in there either. My 5 year old daughter decided to use the food chopper and chop some portabella mushrooms and sweet red peppers fairly fine and add them too and it was great! As my daughter says..."Double thumbs up"

Wow! I am super hard to please when it comes to any tomato based sauce and even pickier when it comes to pizza sauce. This was awesome! I could not stop sneaking a taste as it was simmering on the stove. My search for the perfect pizza sauce is over and I can't wait to try it as a dip for bread sticks and garlic fingers!!
