I make them over and over. They are simple and quick to prepare and they do veritably melt in your mouth. I generally make 8 large and 10 small meatballs from 1.5 lbs. The large ones get simmered in sauce and the small ones baked. I use purchased sauce [Ragu chunky tomato, onion, garlic]. The acme of comfort food!

Made these with my boyfriend who can't even cook pasta (seriously, he burnt the pasta into a gummy semi-solid mass), but even he couldn't ruin these meatballs! We both enjoyed these, although they were a bit plain. Followed directions exactly. The meatballs were a bit too dense for me and I would have liked them perhaps with some onion/more breadcrumbs. Also, do not make your meatballs much bigger than a ping-pong ball or they may not cook through in time

Excellent taste. Baked mine in the oven as I wanted to freeze them. Kept snacking on them. Will be making more. Paired these with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy. Only change was to use Romano cheese. Delicious!

OMG. Thank you SOOOO much. I LOVE meatballs & have not attempted to make my own until now. I had seasoned panko which I substituted for the breadcrumbs, but OH SO DELICIOUS! Teen & Hubby loved them too :

These were really delicious and super easy! I used a full 2 lbs of ground beef (because I'm cheap) and used fresh grated parmesan but followed all of the other ingredients as written. When it came time to cook the meatball I opted for the oven method and layered in Ragu sauce with the meatballs and baked for 35 minutes. The came out perfectly cooked and still so moist after cooking. We used your wonderful meatball recipe to make meatball subs and I plan to use the sauce left in the bottom of the pan to make baked spaghetti casserole tomorrow night. Thanks for a keep Kittencal!

These are SO easy and delicious. Took Kittencal's advice, (who wouldn't if you've ever tried any of her other recipes, right???), and simmered these in my Marinara sauce. Moist, flavorful, and just can't say enough good things about these except....they're deliciouso !!!!
