YuM! our whole family loved these! for any of you who are egg, wheat or dairy free this recipe was so easy to substitute. As 1 egg replacer i used mixer to mix 3tblsp hot water with 1tblsp flaxmeal on high for 3 min and set aside to thicken while i mixed everthing else. Replaced bread crumbs with coursley ground oats and used rice milk. These meatballs were delicious and still kept their shape perfectly. thanks Kittencal!

I was looking for a good, basic meatball recipe, and this was definitely it! I only used beef, halved the recipe (but kept the amount of garlic the same because we love garlic!) and cooked it up in some Ragu pasta sauce and it was delicious!

After years of making meatballs from various recipes, this is the first I've seen where you solely cook them in the sauce. (duh, right?). The meatballs were fantastic my only (probably unfair) comment is that they didn't lend any flavor to my jarred sauce. The sauce actually was quite bad after cooking it for so long. I know- should have just made homemade too.

i used a slow cooker to cook these meatballs in my own spagetti sauce... i left them in for about 4 hours as mother in law was late for dinner... they were moist and juicy and melt in your mouth fantastic... thank you for the fantastic recipe!

Made these instead of my regular ones. DH said "Best batch you've ever made!" Dropped these right into "JoMamas Spaghetti Sauce" from this site, a winning combination.

This is a great way to cook up some meatballs! I cooked mine in sauce I had made and froze. Added fresh basil and thyme for freshness. I had to stop myself from eating too much. Really did go down easily and I wasn't even drinking wine. Don't tell a true Italian for shame of me. I have this one saved and will be thrilled to serve to those who enjoy a good meatball.

Really fantastic meatballs. I made a few creative changes to suit my tastes, but the recipe was followed very closely. I had too many small meatballs for the sauce I made, so I made some bigger ones, I threw them in the oven, and bam! Pasta dinner tonight, with giant meatballs for lunch tomorrow! I will definitely be using this recipe again in the future. Thanks!
