Made this 2X. First followed directions - using 1TBL anchovy paste. and 2 cloves garlic. Second time used much more garlic and used about 5-6 flat anchovies out of a can. Put in fridge to meld. Will update if I make any further changes. Thanks!! So delicious.
Simply fantastic. It tastes just like Caesar dressing should. I had to tweek it a little by adding a little more anchovy, cheese and Worcestershire, but it was perfect. Thank you for sharing this.
For years I have tried to get my kids to eat salad and have failed. Thanks to this wonderful recipe, they not only gobble up the salad, they ask for more! They love the dressing. I haven't told them that there are anchovies in the dressing and I definitely wouldn't omit them - the dressing is perfect and wouldn't be the same without them! Thanks for another great recipe!
I have made this recipe more than once and whenever invited to an event or gathering, I am asked to make this dressing and bring salad. My family loves this and it has quickly become my favorite dressing. I like a little extra garlic and the key is to let it set overnight so the flavors really settle in. I have tried Kittencal's recipes before and find them to always be a big winner. Thanks again!
Great salad! :)
This recipe was delicious. I wish I would have added a little bit more anchovy. I love Kittencals recipes. I know I can't go wrong if I try one.
I can't even tell you how much I use this recipe. People FREAK for it. I serve it with grilled chicken marinated in Wegmans lemon garlic marinade and its great for parties!
Sooo good! Thank you (:
First recipe I've made that I liked! Had 6 guests for dinner and everyone asked me to print them a copy of this recipe, the highest compliment in my book.
I used Hellman's mayo made with canola, I did use anchovy filets and half and half.
For the mustard, I used the French brand called Moutarde Royale which has cognac in it.
Very expensive but AMAZING mustard. This dressing was fantastic!!!
Thank you for sharing it.
