This is soooo good. I use it all the time to make Caramel Macchiato's. I dumped out my store bought Smuckers Caramel, washed the no mess bottle out well and put this caramel in it. It's and convient to use. Thanks for the amazing recipe!

This is a fantastic recipe and what flavor. At first mine turned out grainy (my fault). The next day I added water and a bit of butter and reheated it for a wonderful smooth texture. Even grainy, the flavor was good. I added vanilla bean seeds for a little extra touch. I did have some sauce left over after I used it on the Harvest Pumpkin Cheesecake and I add it to my coffee in the mornings. YUMMY

As ALWAYS Kittencal a perfect and simple recipe. Used this for a topper with a bread pudding I am developing and well, they just got married. This sauce will stay as my bread puddings condiment of choice. It will also 'cheat' on my bread pudding with ice cream and etc throughout the ages! Thank you!

Awesome, as always. Served with white chocolate mud cake and ice cream, was the best. And it thickened up nicely in the fridge and off the heat and chilled for 5 minutes was a lovely drizzling consistancy.

This sauce couldn't be easier or better! Rich, creamy and fantastic. Used as a topping for home made ice cream but can't wait to try it on hot apple pie.

Excellent! I used only 1/2 whipping cream (not the heavy whipping cream) and also added 1/16 tsp salt. Didn't added vanilla extract. Used this recipe for chocolate flan cake.

I cut the recipe in half and drizzled it over a chocolate bundt cake. It was super easy to make and way better than anything you could buy at the store.

Holy crap. This is delicious. I followed other reviews and left out the vanilla. Wrong. After a quick test, I added the vanilla. It is thin, but I've refrigerated it to use tomorrow and hope it thickens. Don't buy it from the store any more. Update: Made it again but used Splenda Brown Sugar. It tasted just as great. I used filo cups, put a dollup of Cool Whip at the bottom, stuffed sliced strawberries in it until it was overflowing, then covered it with your caramel sauce. Final touch was topping it with a little salt. Delicious! Thanks again!

Delicious and ridiculously easy! Foolproof might be the word, I don't think you can overcook it unless you let it sit there and burn or something. You'll want to eat it fresh off the stove but it benefits from thickening in the fridge. Had it with some baked apple slices, and awesome just on plain old vanilla ice cream.

Wonderful sauce I served over raw apple cake. I used can milk and it worked like a charm. Everyone loved it. Son used it over ice cream, too. Thanks, Kitten, for posting.

The biggest temptation with this sauce is to stand at the stove and eat it with a spoon before you use for anything else! Thanks, Carole!

When I came across this recipe, and saw that Kittencalskitchen was attached to it, I had to try it. Rating this 5 stars ..as.. wow. Yummy. I did use salted butter, alos used 2% milk, as I was out of the whipping cream. However, it is still so delish! I just got done making it, so it is still pretty thin, but it packs big flavours and I know it will thicken as it cools. I added a tsp of real vanilla extract (which I make at home) and it is perfectly balanced.. not over powering at all. Quick and excellent. Thanks for another keeper!
