I wanted a classic (and-dare I say-yellow) creamy chicken gravy and this was perfect. Very reminiscent of classic diner type chicken gravy. Kittencal's recipes never let me down!
Fanastic! I have been trying to find a gravy recipe that I could eat without feeling all "blah" afterwards and this one did the trick! It's not heavy, great flavor and easy to make. You never fail me Kitten, I know I can count on you. :-D
as usual the big cat rocks.
I can make a gravy with pan drippings in my sleep but had no idea how to make "restaurant style" gravy. This was perfect! I got alittle heavy with the salt shaker but didn't ruin it, I'll be more careful next time. Thank you for your recipes, I have added so much to my cooking style and have learned so much through your recipes. Thank you! :)
I was a big disbeliever in any gravies made without pan drippings, but I gave yours a shot. And it's very good! I look forward to having it over my biscuits and mashed potatoes tonight. Thanks for a quick substitute!
This is so good and super easy. I have been making this for a while- have used for mashed potatoes, turkey, chicken and biscuits. I am now looking this up again because I was asked by 2 people for the recipe today. They were looking for anything to put the gravy over because they liked it so much. I use a generous 1/2 tsp of pepper, personally.
Made for 123 tag. Excellent go-to recipe for gravy! We're gravy-lovers and this is great for making when you don't have pan drippings! Another Kitt-tastic recipe!
As the name states, an easy, creamy chicken gravy. Perfect for someone like me who doesn't usually roast large birds to get lots of drippings. Thanks for sharing!
Delicious! We devoured this gravy with roast chicken, potatoes and peas. I then used the remainder of the gravy mixed with penne pasta, leftover shredded chicken, corn kernels in a casserole dish topped with fresh breadcrumbs and shredded mozarella. A great, versatile family recipe.
