I never liked kale until I adapted several recipes to make this one. My family loves it. You can also make with collard greens.

  2. Rinse greens. Cut into strips. Boil in salted water for 6 minutes. Drain in colander. While greens are boiling, cook bacon, remove from skillet. Saute onions and garlic in bacon drippings until onion is lightly browned. Place greens, onion & garlic, crumbled bacon, pepper flakes and chicken stock in crock pot. Cook on high 4 hours or until greens are tender.
