This is a salad as old as I am. It has been to every kind of potluck, dinner, picnic, get together--anything you can think of. Loved by all and it makes a great dish for anything.

  1. Combine beans, pickles, eggs, celery and mayo or salad dressing.
  2. Refrigerate to chill at least 1 hour.

Darlene,I have been making this salad so many years I can't count!! The only things I do differnt is I make sure I use light red kidney beans,use dill pickle& onion. I never have used celery,but will try it the next time I make.I got the recipe from my mom,& everytime I make it,I think of her Thanks for posting.

My mom used to make this when I was a kid and now I have finally found it again. Made exactly as written AND added some chopped onion and chopped green pepper. Thanks for the GREAT recipe!!
