This is a very easy recipe. My children loved it to. FYI, I used 16 ounces of elbow macaroni and I use all 16 oz of Velveeta. I add milk to all the ingredients, I did this by eyeing it but if I could put it to a measurement I would say about 1/2 cup. I covered mine as well with foil and I baked mine for 20 minutes. It was creamy and yummy. My children are picky eater's so I did not put any veggies in it. It is DEF a kid pleaser THANK YOU!!!!!
This was very good and pretty easy to make!
This was such an easy recipe and tasted so good - reminds me of the tuna casserole my Mom used as a stable when I was growing up and was always one of my favorites. Now this is one of my DGs favs. I made as directed but used one bag of veggie rottini macoroni - the kids loved the extra colors that it made, I loved the ease of putting something together that they all would eat.
I made this a week ago for dinner and it was a very big hit with the family my kids dont normally like tuna and they were actually having seconds of this the only thing i did different was i has to use regular cheese bcuz i didnt have the velveeta but tonight i do so i am going to make it the right way. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
My family loves tuna casserole. This was very easy to put together and very little clean-up. I used 12 ounces tuna and would add a second can of mushroom soup, as it was a little dry. I used all lowfat products and that worked out fine. Thanks for sharing this super easy recipe.
Very kid and adult friendly. My husband, who doesn't like anything, actually asked me to make this again just for him. I must admit I added 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, and for our version, I added 1 minced clove of garlic and 1/2 cup chopped onion, which I lightly sauteed in 1 tbsp of butter before I added it to the noodles! I also added 3/4 cup of frozen peas for both the kid version and the adult! Delish!!!!!
It was kid-friendly, as promised. I was also a little short on time, so it nice to have something so simple to throw together. My husband thought it was a little strong fish flavor (we used 3 cans), but I thought two cans seemed too few for a family of six.
This was very easy to put together for lunch today. Kids loved it. FYI, 16 ounces of pasta is 3 1/2 cups of elbow macaroni and I used 12 ounces of Velveeta which was about 2 cups cut into chunks. I covered mine with foil so the top would not dry out as I baked it for 30 minutes. I'll make this again but to add some color I'll add frozen peas or mixed veggies. Made for *Zaar Cookbooks Tag 2008* game
We liked this recipe pretty good. I would make it again due to how easy it was but I have to say that I like my original tuna casserole better. My husband said it was a little more dry then he would have liked. (He is used to have more sauce in it I guess). I didn't think it was dry personally and my 5 year old ate without complaint. I just love the peas and such that goes in tuna casserole (but my son doesn't) so I will be keeping this recipe too. Thank you for sharing.
My husband just gobbled this up!!!! GREAT recipe... so easy and cheap!!!! Thanks
