Kickin' Steak Fries

READY IN: 35mins
Recipe by Cluich

I saw this recipe somewhere online and had to try it. I'm not sure I can have fries any other way ever again. For best results, I have to say that Frank's Red Hot sauce is the way to go. I even like to splash on a little extra after the cooking's done.

These were amazingly quick to make!!! Not a single one was left by the end of dinner!!! I wouldnt change a thing about them (except I use Yukon Gold potatoes).

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb russet potato, sliced into 1/4-inch wedges
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 cups French-fried onions, finely crushed
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated

  1. Heat the oven to 400°F Place potatoes, butter, and hot sauce in large zip bag. Seal the bag and toss the potatoes to get a nice, even coating.
  2. Mix the french-fried onions and Parmesan cheese in a bowl, then add to the zip bag. Coat the potatoes in crumb-cheese mixture, pressing firmly, making sure they're thoroughly and evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for about 25 minutes, until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
