Kicked up Cranberry Sauce

"Horseradish, yes horseradish really kicks this sauce up a notch. It is always the hit at our Thanksgiving dinner and I have made it to give as Christmas gifts. You can also serve this over cream cheese with crackers!"

  1. I love this. Sweet, spicy, and perfect with poultry. I can see this becoming the go to cranberry sauce in my house. I halved the recipe, though, and reduced the sugar by another half, since I prefer tart cranberry to sweet. That's just a personal preference thing, the recipe is great as written. Thanks for sharing.

My favorite cookbooks are River Roads I & II - published by the Baton Rouge Junior League - just the best of the best! While I am a single woman, I love to cook and share recipes. My friends always ask me why I cook just for me - well, I gotta eat! And, I would much rather have something homemade than fast food or frozen entrees.
