I must first preface this by saying that I am VERY picky about my cocktail sauce. . .and I LOVED this recipe. I will venture to say that I may never purchase cocktail sauce again, as this was so easy, inexpensive and perfect in flavor. I did add extra horseradish, but that's it! Thanks so much for a recipe I will be making time and time again. NOTE: I just have to say that I make this regularly and it is a stellar recipe. I have started using no salt added ketchup to create a low sodium yet fabulous cocktail sauce. THANKS again!
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, drained
- 1⁄2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 pinch salt & freshly ground black pepper
