This was wonderful for lunch today! I omitted the celery and replaced the raisins with dried cranberries. I didn't have any yogurt, so I used a low fat sour cream. Delish! Thanks for the great recipe, Anme!

Refreshing salad. The nuts could have been a hastle but I followed MarraMamba's advise and used a baking sheet under them for easier clean-up. I used honey this time but might use maple syrup and walnuts for a nice change. Thanks Anme.

great great salad. I low fat lemon yogurt since i was out of plain, and enjoyed every bite. All i had was pecan pieces so i expected to have to remove them from bits of meringue, and they did taste great. Used baking paper so i didnt mess up the cookie sheet

I just loved this salad with it's truly unusual but unique dressing. Such a nice change from my usual chicken salad. My one lament here pertained to the pecans and egg whites which were a bit of a mess and ended up as a messy spatter on the baking sheet. I think this would have worked better to do a simple scramble of the white and lightly rolling the nuts in before tossing with the sugar. As it was there was too much merengue on the nuts which pooled and burned. Thanks!

I was very surprised by this recipe. At first it seemed to contain a lot of apple and chicken compared to the rest of the ingredients, but it turned out just perfect! I especially like d the nutmeg and yogurt flavor from the dressing. The only thing I would change would be to add more pecans, and I'd probably toast them without the egg whites since that addition seemed a little unnecessary and rather difficult to clean.

Very good recipe for a light lunch. The dressing makes for a very unique flavor. I liked the nutmeg and honey. Very creative! The pecans took about half the designated time to cook. Watch so they don't burn. Also, the egg whites ended up cooking like a fried egg, which stuck to the pecans. I needed to break apart the fried egg whites from the pecans. Other than that, I really did enjoy the creative recipe! *Made for RSC 10 contest*
