This is a copycat recipe from copyKat.com that I found. My wife says it's her favorite BBQ sauce now. We make this, use what we want the first time, and put it back in the bottle for storage.
- 1 (18 ounce) bottlehickory smoke barbecue sauce
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
- Place all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Heat over medium to medium low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
- Let cool to desired temperature.
