Key Lime Pie

- 1 1⁄4 graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1⁄2 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
- 2 tablespoons key lime zest, finely grated
- 4 egg whites
- 3 tablespoons sugar
directions
- CRUST: In a bowl, mix graham crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pan.
- FILLING: Using an electric mixer, mix the yolks, Eagle Brand, Key lime juice and zest, until thickened. Pour into the pie shell and refrigerate overnight until set.
- MERINGUE: Whisk eggs and sugar to a stiff peak. Spoon or pipe on the pie and bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Leave to cool on a rack, then refrigerate.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
