Didn't really care for this recipe as it seemed too tart.I followed the recipe to a T also.We just came back from Florida and had key lime pie at several places including Bonefish Grill..none were this tart.I will try to make it again and cut down on the lime juice and maybe add some vanilla or something to cut the tartness

Fabulous recipe!! I was shooting to beat Bonefish Grill's key lime pie, and I think this did it! I added in the zest of 2 limes, used regular lime juice, and made my own crust (I just don't do pre-bought graham cracker crusts) using ginger snaps and chopped pecans!! SO good - this is definitely my new Key Lime Pie recipe!!

This pie was very, very tasty! What a great homemade desert with low prep time and amazing flavor! I followed the recipe to a T.

This recipe is so easy and yet so tasty! I've started making it in mini graham wafer pie-crusts - 12 cups just barely fit the filling, if you fill them right up. It takes about 25 min to bake. My husband loves them, because I freeze them, and he can pull one out whenever he wants a treat...portion control!

The first bite of this pie took me straight back to the late 1960's where I had my first bite of Key Lime pie at The Sweden House in
Boyton Beach FL. I've been trying to recapture that perfect creamy taste ever since.. THIS IS IT! I used a whole pint of cream, whipped , for the topping and the sweetness was a perfect counterpoint for the tartness of the lime. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe.

Absolutely amazing pie. Next time will make a homemade crust vs store bought for 5 stars. Super simple but creamy and good. Topped with cool whip.

My first time making a Key Lime Pie, but I wont use any other recipe. It was perfect! I did add a bit of lime zest into the filling. Living in Guam I used Calamansi limes. It was just the right combination of tart and sweet. Yummy!

I used green food coloring to make it greener. This had a fresh taste although I used bottled lime juice. I made one lemon and one lime. Liked both of them.

This is my idea of the best Key Lime Pie ever, with one caveat, use fresh lime juice, key or regular work fine and taste soooo much better than bottled! Mmmm I think that I'll whip up another for Easter. I'm the only key lime lover in my family (Usually i eat the entire pie!) but my Dad really enjoys it too and he'll be visiting! If you enjoy bottled lemon or lime juice in other recipes you may not mind it in this one either, but I can't stand the stuff!

Loved this! You are right that it gets even better the next day! I bought a 6 oz pie crust, filled it just below the top of the crust, and had about 2/3 cup of filling left. I'm glad that I didn't pour it all in because it would have overflowed! Thanks for posting!
