  1. I made these last night for a "boys night out" LAN party my husband attended. I had to put the bars in the fridge after spreading the white chocolate conconction over the raspberry glaze to firm it up a bit. I also had a bit of trouble drizzling the semisweet chocolate chip mixture - I think because I wanted MORE chocolate!! So I more than doubled the amount and spread it on like icing after the bars chilled for a while. My hubby said "I thought it was just another chocolate bar and then I tasted the raspberry.. mmmmm" When he got home he was a bit irritated I didn't leave any behind at home for him alone cuz he only got a couple at the party before they were all gone! THAT is a great compliment! Thanks for the recipe.

I am a newlywed living in beautiful Virginia with my husband and 3 doggies. I'm a little on the hyper side and I am happiest playing hostess and cooking for a crowd! My kitchen is my domain and I find cooking to be very therapeutic. On a day off you might find me brewing a fresh pot of iced tea and hanging out in the kitchen either cleaning and organizing or tinkering with recipes! I rarely follow favorite recipes to a "T", preferring instead to allow my creative side to take over. I especially love the holidays because it gives me even more of an excuse to bake! In the summertime I love visiting my mom and stepdad in the VA Beach area. I love the ocean and I love to go shopping with my mom!
