My sister Kathy makes the best corn on the cob- sweet and tender. This is her recipe.

Always forget how to boil it and I tried this recipe, D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! It didn't even need butter cause we were out.

  1. Place corn into large dutch oven.
  2. Cover with unsalted cold water.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and sugar to each gallon of water used.
  4. Heat to boiling uncovered, boil 2 minutes.
  5. Turn off heat. Let stand in water 10 minutes.
  6. Drain well.
  7. Add salt and butter.
