This is a terrific recipe. I did make a few changes as I didn't intend to barbeque. A Korean friend had told me to boil the meat first, which i did ... about 7 minutes, to get out all the fat and blood from the meat. Then I marinated the meat for 24 hours, using the recipe as provided. I substituted a small chopped apple for the pear as that was available. Then, I put the meat in a large heavy pot (non stick) added 3/4 cup of water and let the meat simmer for nearly two hours until almost all of the liquid was gone. Yum, Yum, Yum. Everyone loved it. Did I say yum?

Speaking of ingredients, the pear baby food made me smile...I just used poached pureed pear as I never bought baby food (even for my own babies lol). I will definitely be making these again. YUM
