ingredients

• 4 cups water
• 3 3⁄4 cups sugar
• 3⁄4 cup instant coffee
• 1 quart vodka (100 proof)
• 1⁄4 cup pure vanilla extract

directions

1. Bring water and sugar to a rolling boil.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Add instant coffee. Stir well to dissolve completely.
4. Let cool until lukewarm.
5. Add vodka and vanilla.
6. Stir well; bottle in brown bottles.
7. Let stand for 2 weeks.
