Kachumber - Fresh Tomato, Cucumber, and Onion Relish

"A spicy tomato, cucumber and onion relish that is a refreshing accompaniment to most Indian meals. I like it a bit on the spicy side, but you can adjust the amount of peppers to your own taste."

  2. YUM! This was a perfect side dish to our Indian flavoured dinner - AND - it's so easy to make!

  3. this is a really tasty relish to temper the heat of curries. this is made very often by my mom and sisters back home too.

  4. We really enjoyed this relish with our butter chicken. They went so well together. I was a bit concerned about the sugar in it, it seemed a lot, but it brought the other flavours out better I think. Thanks for another great recipe Sue.

  5. This is one of our favourite accompaniments which we enjoy during the summer months. I do use less green chillies, about 1 at the most, because we don't like very spicy food. The lemon juice adds a beautiful flavoour to this recipe!
