This is a wonderful, easy plum sauce! You'll never buy store-bought again. You can add some crushed red pepper flakes if you'd like it on the spicy side.
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup plum jam
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- In a small saucepan,combine the soy sauce and cornstarch until the corn starch is dissolved.
- Add plum jam, pineapple juice and lemon juice.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils. Reduce heat to low, simmer and stir, about 1 to 2 minutes.
