I needed the nutritional info on this simple liver recipe. It is lightly dredged in buckwheat flour and sauteed in olive oil. It is one of my favorite ways to serve liver.
- 346 g beef liver
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1⁄4 cup buckwheat flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- Pour milk over liver and set aside for at least 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile mix together salt and flour.
- Slice liver into large strips. Dredge in flour mixture and discard milk.
- Heat oil over medium heat in a large frying pan. Cook liver until browned and the center is just slightly pink. Aprx 3 mins per side.
