In this economy it is nice to be able to recreate treats like this at home for a lot less money! 10/2/13 It was just brought to my attention that the recipe was created by Todd Wilbur www.TopSecretRecipes.com
- 1 cup espresso or 1 cup strong coffee
- 1⁄3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups ice
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- whipped cream
- Dissolve sugar in espresso and chill till cold. Combine all ingredients in blender till ice is crushed and drink is smooth. Pour into two 16 oz glasses, and top with whipped cream.
- Mocha version--reduce granulated sugar to 1/4 cup and add 1/4 cup fudge topping to the blender before blending.
- Caramel version-- reduce granulated sugar to 1/4 cup and add 1/4 cup caramel topping to blender.
