- 1 fresh yeast cake
- 1⁄2 cup warm water
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3 cups flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
directions
- Add yeast cake into 1/2 cup warm water.
- Scaled milk and then cool to warm.
- Melt 1/4 Cup butter in milk.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Turn out on floured board.
- Knead.
- Cover.
- Let rise till double in size.
- Shape into rolls.
- Brush with milk.
- Rise 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Bake at 425 for 10-15 minutes.
