Julie's Picante Sauce

"I am posting this recipe so I do not loose it. My family would disown me if I could not make this, my son-in-law says i should open a store and sell this. You can either can it or freeze it."

  • Cut all vegetables and run through food processor .Put all ingredients in a large pot and cook for at least 30-40 min or until desired consistency ( I usually cook it longer) After it is done you can either process it in a hot bath or put it containers and freeze it.

  1. I enjoy making sauces, but did cut this recipe back by 2/3! Also used mild peppers rather than HOT ones, but other than that, the recipe was pretty much followed! And then, since we like these kinds of sauces a little chunky, I used the food processor just briefly! All for a very tasty sauce, thanks to your recipe!
