ingredients
- 425.24 g can pineapple chunks in juice
- 1 apple (peeled, cored and diced)
- 425.24 g can mandarin oranges
- 425.24 g can pink grapefruit slices (cut in half)
- 473.19 ml blueberries
- 473.19 ml raspberries
- 473.19 ml strawberry (sliced)
- 236.59 ml green seedless grape, halved
directions
- Mix all fruits together, juice and all and enjoy.
- Note you can add banana to this, however, add it at serving time to individual servings.

I used all fresh fruit (Valencia oranges for canned mandarins) and included everything but the blueberries. I also added some red grapes with the green. A small-emphasis on small, amount of freshly ground cloves was added (probably no more than 1/16 teaspoon.) Why cloves? I read somewhere online that one of the flavors in Juicy Fruit Gum is clove. True or not I thought that sounded good for this recipe. The salad does taste better the next day but then by that time the fruit has started to soften. That citric acid is going to break down the fruit and quickly especially the bananas. Probably best to eat the salad same day it is prepared. Thanks! Will make again soon in the summer when local berries are more abundant, including blueberries and blackberries.

This was delicious with all fresh fruit. It will be 5 stars that way! I made this properly food combined as per http://www.momssoapbox.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/food_combining.jpg with all the fruits I had on hand. They included, fresh pineapple, navel oranges, fresh pink grapefruit and red seedless grapes. I squeezed in the left over juice from the peels and pith. Great for our slight cold to get better. I would make this again using fresh fruit only. Made for RECIPE TAG GAME in Kittencal's forum.

<p>First, I'd like thank everyone who reviews my recipes. I can't thank each of you personally although I try. <br /><br />I Live in central Virginia, 5 miles from where I grew up, w/ my Husband of 17 years and my beautiful daughter. She is 10 and is the joy of my life. We waited for a long time to be blessed with a child and it is the best thing I've ever done. Be a mother. <br /><br />I love to cook. We eat very healthy, after a life altering experience at 31 I've been on a journey to be healthy and lose weight. I've lost 50 lbs and have kept most all of it off for the last 9 years. There are always fluxs, durring stressful times, but I've mananged to keep most of the weight off. My best advice to anyone trying to lose weight is to remember that it didn't get there overnight and it won't come off overnight. I've never said I was on a diet. It is a lifestyle.</p>
<p>When Zaar first changed to Food I took a short hiatus. I was going thru a very hard time in life and was completely unmotivated to do anything and thus gave up my hosting duties on Holiday Tag. But now with a new perspective I'm hoping to get back to cooking and tagging.</p>
