Super good!I was looking for a soup recipe that called for cabbage and no meat. I stumbled upon your recipe and I'm thrilled that I did. This soup tastes just like a vegetable soup recipe my Grandma used to make. I loved it then and now. I added celery to mine and also some crushed red pepper. Servd with ham and cheese stromboli. Filled us up, but didn't weigh us down. Thanks so much for posting. I'll be making this soup again.
Please see my rating system. The directions call for celery, although the ingredients do not include any; I included 3 celery stalks, chopped, as found on another site. Also, it would be helpful to list the ingredients in order of use. The directions should have been modified from the source to reflect the herb choices for this version. This was a bland, low-salt, but very good soup, excellent for an afternoon snack. Can you believe that 2 cups is less than 100 calories?
