Cornmeal based loaf, typically eaten for breakfast. We like it in place of pancakes.....but it is also good eaten cold like cornbread.

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Mix wet ingredients.
  3. Mix together until combined.
  4. Pour into a greased tart or pie plate.(I use my short round french white casserole).
  5. Bake at 375* for 25 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with butter and syrup or jam, or cold as a biscuit.
