- 396.89 g plum tomatoes (or 400 g, whirled until smooth)
- 2.46 ml salt and pepper (combined)
- 4.92 ml dried basil
- 453.59 g cream cheese (or 2 c., whipped until light)
- 14.79 ml lemon juice
- 1.23 ml salt and pepper
- 59.14 ml mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 59.14 ml asiago cheese, crumbled (optional)
- 59.14 ml crab, shredded (canned)
- 59.14 ml mayonnaise
- 236.59 ml artichoke (canned, drained)
- 2.46 ml garlic, crushed
- 1.23 ml salt and pepper
- 59.14 ml chopped tomato, for garnish
- 2.46 ml parsley, for garnish
- salted tortilla chips (triangle)
directions
- Combine tomato sauce ingredients (first three ingredients) just to mix and set aside. Combine cream cheese and next 6 ingredients in food processor and whirl a couple of times. Quickly saute artichokes with salt, pepper and garlic, set aside. Just before serving combine cream cheese and tomato sauce (3 parts cheese to 1 part sauce) mixing well; microwave sauce for 45 sec. just to warm, fold in artichokes and garnish with tomatoes and parsley. Serve with lightly salted tortilla chip triangles.
