This litte dish is always asked for when Joe is cooking.
- 2 lbs shrimp
- 1 onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 lb butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 375 ml dry white wine (1/2 bottle)
- Place onions in sauce pan and cook down until soft; add crushed garlic.
- Add butter and when melted, add chicken broth and wine bringing to a hard boil, until alcohol is cooked off.
- Throw in shrimp and as soon as the shrimp turns white remove from heat. Season to taste, serve over rice.
This is my third time cooking shirmp since I recently "discovered" it lol. Simple, but tasty recipe. I served this over some of Recipe #226331. Great combo! I didnt use hardly as much butter and used a little more wine than broth. Excellent recipe!
