We had some friends over for a BBQ last night, and no one, I mean NO ONE could guess what I did to the chicken breasts! When I finally let the cat out of the bag, they were in shock. They all asked for the recipe, and since it was soooooo simple, I was able to just recite it right there at dinner, and they were able to remember it all without writing it down. I only managed to marinate the chicken for about 4 hours, but it was just fine, I can imagine that 24 hours would be amazing. I did use the lemon pepper but also added some paprika, which melded with the yellow of the lemonade and gave the chicken a lovely orange color. The sugar in the lemonade does make the chicken more likely to burn, so keep it over a low heat and let it cook slowly, it's worth the wait! Another winner from MG!
