  1. I made your pork chops again, Joan, but this time I didn't have any soy sauce on hand. However, I did have LaChoy's teryaki sauce and used it with fabulous results! Thanks again for a great recipe!

  2. This recipe was lovely to say the least. I used pork steaks instead of chops, only difference being the bone of course. The cooking method made the pork quite tender. I might try this recipe with pork ribs too.

  3. Wonderful recipe,Joan.Just the right amount of sweetness,I added some crushed red peppers to the soy and sugar mixture and I added some onions with the garlic.I drizzled the yummy sauce over green beans and it was great!!Will keep this recipe handy for future use, thanks for sharing it with us!

  4. Oh WOW!! This recipe is positively delicious. I have to say that after browning the pork chops, simmering for an extra 35 minutes will dry your meat out. Because of the little nasties pork can harbor I think people tend to overcook this meat, so consider shortening the simmer time if you want juicy chops. Man oh man was this good, thank you!

  5. I've made this recipe twice now....delicious! Thanks!
